Music of the Spheres

I always loved the music thread on the old forum. Share the music you listen to while playing or writing. What is your character's theme? What bit of music makes you think of Bodkin?

The one that reminded me of this was listening to Dreams of Venice from Jesper Kyd's excellent soundtrack for Assassins Creed 2 on repeat while I wrote This Post about the day before Avendel fell.

That bit of music has always captured better than most the feeling of being in Venice, this odd tension between its aparant beauty and dream like qualities  and the threat of how precarious it all is. Which is exactly the feeling I imagined permeating Avendel in its last days, a glorious city which had seen better days at danger from forces not necessarily apparent on the surface.

Building the Highlands always made me think of Carnivale (amazing show). All that depression-era desolation...
